The current photo report is intended to show Toyota Camry V40 light bulbs replacement way including the way to replace 6th generation Camry high beam light bulbs on your own. Then high beam light bulbs, dipped beam light bulbs, parking and turn signal light bulbs replacement will be shown.
Toyota Camry V40 light bulbs numbers:
- high beam light bulb — H11;
- dipped beam light bulb — HB3 (9005);
- turn signal light bulb — 7440A (7444NA or 992);
- parking light bulb — 2825 (W5W).
Toyota Camry light bulb replacement
None tools are required to replace high beam and dipped beam light bulbs. But a small flat screwdriver will be required in order to gain access to the front parking and turn signal light bulb.
It will be much easier to replace parking and turn signal light bulb from the wheel arch. Turn the steering wheel (and the wheel, respectively) for this: to the left, if the replacement is made from the passenger side, and to the right, if the light bulbs are being replaced from the driver’s side.
Then remove at least two protection fastenings in the wheel arch and unscrew the protection while gaining an access to the light bulbs.
Camry V40 high beam light bulbs replacement
High beam light bulb is located in the headlight assembly center. Turn the light bulb base for a quarter counterclockwise, then remove the light bulb from the headlamp. Now press the lock and disconnect the power connector.
New light bulb should be connected to the connector, inserted into the headlamp and then turned for a quarter clockwise.
Camry V40 dipped beam light bulb replacement
The main dipped beam light bulb is located in the inner headlight assembly corner. It is replaced the same way as high beam light bulb. Turn the light bulb base for a quarter counterclockwise, remove the light bulb and disconnect the connector. Install in reverse order.
Camry V40 parking light bulb replacement
The light bulb size is slightly above the light gray light turn signal cartridge bulb turn and has a black base. Turn the light bulb for 1/4 turn counterclockwise, remove the light bulb and take it out from the connector. Then insert a new light bulb into the socket, install it in the headlamp and turn it for 1/4 clockwise while locking.
Camry V40 turn signal light bulb replacement
The turn signal light bulb has a light gray cartridge and is located under a slightly smaller parking light bulb. Turn the cartridge counterclockwise, remove the old light bulb and replace it, install the cartridge with a new light bulb in the headlight and turn it for 1/4 clockwise.
Toyota Camry V40 left front headlight.
Dipped beam light bulb.
On the back side.
Rotate the light bulb base for 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
Remove light bulb.
Squeeze the lock.
Disconnect the light bulb.
Philips H11 light bulb for 12V 55W.
Connect the new light bulb to the power connector.
Insert the light bulb into the socket.
The light bulb has been successfully installed.
Rotate the light bulb base for 1/4 clockwise while locking.
Dipped beam light bulb.
On the back side.
1/4 counterclockwise.
Remove the light bulb.
Press the lock.
Disconnect the dipped beam light bulbs.
Sylvania 9005 light bulb for 12V 60W.
Connect the new light bulb and then install in the socket.
The light bulb has been successfully installed.
1/4 turn clockwise for fixation.
Parking and turn signal light bulb.
Turn the wheel.
Protection arch fastening.
Pry off one lock.
Pry off the second lock.
Locks.
Bend the protection.
Parking (top black) and turn signal (light gray bottom) light bulbs.
Rotate the base for 1/4 turn.
Remove and disconnect the old light bulb.
Light bulb 7440A (992).
Connect and install a new light bulb.
Turn for 1/4 clockwise while locking.
Return protection and locks to their places.
High beam light bulb check.
Dipped beam light bulbs сheck.
