Photo report on how to replace the heater radiator at Volkswagen Passat B5+ with AWT engine.
If you decide to replace the heater radiator without any professional help, though this procedure is not very difficult, take on this task if you are confident of your further actions, because even though you need not many tools (several screwdrivers), you will have to disassemble the half of the car interior, so it is possible not to assemble everything again…
I recommend to change the heater radiator to an expensive and high-quality one so that not to repair it again in a couple of years. And also make sure to replace the sealing foam of the air distribution system.
