Mandatory scheduled maintenance is essential for the proper functioning of all major vehicle components. The list of scheduled maintenance tasks for the Kia Sportage 4th generation includes basic procedures for changing engine oil and filters. In general, there are four main stages that repeat cyclically, but additional tasks are added depending on the service life of the specific vehicle configuration.

According to the regulations, the standard service interval is once a year (every 15,000 km). However, if the vehicle is operated in severe conditions, most owners send their compact crossover to the service centre every 10,000 km to replace consumables.

Kia Sportage 4 Maintenance Costs

Servicing the Kia Sportage 4 will be most expensive at an authorized dealer, which is unavoidable while the car is under warranty. You will have to pay more for parts, as most will be original, as well as for the master's labour during replacement and diagnostics.

To calculate how much the Sportage 4 service costs, you need to sum up the price of consumables for the list of tasks and add the cost of labour hours at the service station. Therefore, the price will vary depending on the region and the service centre itself.

The table below lists the spare parts required for the procedures provided by the maintenance map for each specific engine. You can save on maintenance by doing everything yourself and using high-quality equivalents.
